Tonies The Smeds and The Smoos Audio Tonie

Far away among the stars live the red Smeds and the blue Smoos, who never mix. But when Janet and Bill fall in love, they show their families that love can bridge any divide. Discover more Tonies at Toys at Foys.

A rhyming tale of star-crossed lovers

Perhaps Julia Donaldson's most romantic story, The Smeds and The Smoos is read by Imelda Staunton and comes with its own song, so children can sing along with Janet and Bill.

Listen, play and read along

As well as the story and song there is a listening game, a singalong and a readalong track, giving little listeners plenty of ways to enjoy the tale again and again.

Good to know

You will need a Toniebox to play this Tonie. It works with all Tonieboxes; the Toniebox is sold separately. Place the figure on top to play and lift it off to pause. Running time is about 34 minutes. Find more kids' music toys in our range.

Delivery Costs, Ireland and Northern Ireland

Delivery times

Order before 1pm, Monday to Friday, and your order is usually on its way the same day. Most orders arrive the next working day, and nearly all within two. Very occasionally — during busy periods like Christmas, or if our courier runs into a delay — it can take a little longer, so please allow up to 5 working days.

Bulky items

We deliver large items ourselves rather than hand them to a courier, so they arrive properly and in one piece. That takes a little longer: please allow 1-2 weeks. We'll give you a call to arrange a day that suits you.
