Small engine, big adventures

The Duck engine is made from die-cast metal for a satisfying weight in the hand and is simply pushed along the floor or the track, so there are no batteries to worry about. Plastic connectors at each end let children hitch it to other engines, cargo cars and tenders and build a longer train.

Play that grows with them

Pushing, linking and steering the engine helps develop fine motor skills, while making up journeys around Sodor encourages storytelling and imaginative play for children aged 3 and up.

• Free delivery on orders over €70. Under that, delivery is €7.
• Large items — go-karts, swing sets, playhouses and the like — are delivered free of charge, anywhere in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
• International delivery is calculated at checkout.

Delivery times

Order before 1pm, Monday to Friday, and your order is usually on its way the same day. Most orders arrive the next working day, and nearly all within two. Very occasionally — during busy periods like Christmas, or if our courier runs into a delay — it can take a little longer, so please allow up to 5 working days.

Bulky items

We deliver large items ourselves rather than hand them to a courier, so they arrive properly and in one piece. That takes a little longer: please allow 1-2 weeks. We'll give you a call to arrange a day that suits you.
